OVERALL PURPOSE:
This position develops applications using PHP and JavaScript, administering MySQL database structures, performing special programming and database projects as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Write PHP Code for various assigned projects.
- Develop highly complex code and integrate artwork, text, video, and sound into websites and/or applications.
- Responsible to develop a high quality product.
- Participate in all aspects of the product lifecycle from design through development and implementation, documentation and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training/License/Certification:
- High School or GED required.
Work Experience:
- 2-5 years programming experience.
- Experience working with PHP, MySQL, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, HTML, and XML.
- Experience with Unix-based OS and shell environment.
- Knowledge of version, reversion and control practices and procedures.
- Experience with MySQL features (stored procedures, triggers, views).
- Joomla experience is a plus, not required.
