PHP Developer

OVERALL PURPOSE:

This position develops applications using PHP and JavaScript, administering MySQL database structures, performing special programming and database projects as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Write PHP Code for various assigned projects.
  2. Develop highly complex code and integrate artwork, text, video, and sound into websites and/or applications.
  3. Responsible to develop a high quality product.
  4. Participate in all aspects of the product lifecycle from design through development and implementation, documentation and maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training/License/Certification:

  • High School or GED required.

Work Experience:

  • 2-5 years programming experience.
  • Experience working with PHP, MySQL, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, HTML, and XML.
  • Experience with Unix-based OS and shell environment.
  • Knowledge of version, reversion and control practices and procedures.
  • Experience with MySQL features (stored procedures, triggers, views).
  • Joomla experience is a plus, not required.
